Lucy Sheridan

Lucy Sheridan is a visual artist based in Kildare with a studio in Talbot studios Dublin. Lucy’s practice is process driven allowing space for the materials to dictate the direction of a given piece, with colour and materials at the fore. Lucy is interested in the imperfections of the piece. They are not refined objects but ask the viewer to question their understanding of what they might think is a ‘well made’ piece of ceramic work – playing with taste, value, and association.

Exhibitions include: Crucible, Thameside gallery, London, 2022; Oddly Accurate Things, 126 Galway, (2019); Peripheries Open, Wexford (2019 & 2017). Lucy recently participated in MASS Correspondence Course 2020/2022 and graduated with a BA in Fine Art from the National College of Art and Design in 2006.
