Tara Carroll
Tara Carroll is an artist, curator and facilitator based in Ireland.
She has exhibited and performed extensively at multiple exhibitions and events in galleries such as 504 Arch London, 126 Gallery, BCA Gallery, RHA, Mart and The Complex. She received the Emerging Irish Artist Residency Award from BCA in 2019.
Tara Carroll’s practice is predominantly performance, which transcends into other mediums such as textiles, installation, video and photography.
Her focus as a curator and facilitator is to develop opportunities in particular for performance art, as she is passionate about the potency and importance of the medium. She also aids this development through the facilitation of workshops. She proudly created a performance art course that she teaches within Block-T as a means to make performance art more accessible to people from various disciplines.
