Thaís Muniz

Thaís Muniz is a visual artist interested in exploring the connections between inherited and acquired identities, memory, inward love and the reimagination of realities through refusal, dreaming and personal magic. Through her art practices, Muniz builds bridges and open conversations to propose reconnections, change and healing, from an anti-colonial perspective against innumerable mechanisms of collective illness. Muniz’s work unfolds intimate communal learning processes through workshops, performances, installations, urban interventions, audio-visual media, sculptures and celebrations.
