Ugo Ricciardi

Ugo Ricciardi, born in 1975, is a Swiss-Italian photographer. He lives and works in Turin.

 

After two masters in fashion photography at the Kaverdash School in Milan, he started working as a photographer in the photojournalism agency La Presse.

 

Between the 1998 and 2003 he worked as an assistant for the photographer Giuseppe Pino and for many professionals in Superstudio Industria, Milan.

 

In 2004 he started working as a professional in Turin and had many collaborations with famous national brands like Mondadori, Roncato, Disaronno, Lisap. The same year he had his first exhibition at Photoikon in Turin with the series “Angeli di Pietra”.

 

Between 2008 and 2012 he was lecturer in portrait photography at Ph Libero, and in 2012 he opened a new studio for professionals.

 

In 2015 he started the project “Nightscapes” and has exhibited work from the series in Italy and Europe receiving the Gold Winner at London Photography Awards in 2022 amongst other accolades between 2017 to 2020. Luan Gallery is the first gallery in Ireland to exhibit his work which will be followed by an exhibition for the OPW in Rathfarnham Castle.
