Join us on Saturday 21st March at 12:00pm for a guided tour of Luan Gallery’s current exhibition Affective Forms with curator Aoife Banks. This event is free to attend and suitable for all ages. No booking is required.
Affective Forms is a multidisciplinary group exhibition featuring new and existing work by Tara Carroll, Sian Costello, Phelim Hoey, Áine O’ Hara, Day Magee, and Rajinder Singh.
Affective Forms explores evolving representations of the human body in contemporary Irish art through painting, photography, sculpture, performance, and film. Foregrounding the lived experiences of bodies often marginalised in mainstream visual culture, the exhibition brings together works that rethink the human body not as an isolated or idealised figure, but as a relational, sensing, and meaning-making site, while examining the emotional and spatial connections between body and environment.
Affective Forms will continue to 12 April 2026 and will be accompanied by an outreach programme of activities.
