Blade Runner Film Screening + Reading

Film screening Blade Runner at Luan Gallery - Dark room with a screen
Artist Colin Martin installation "Model City" from Blade Runner at Luan Gallery

Join us on the evening of Thursday 13th November for a screening of Ridley Scott’s iconic film Blade Runner alongside a live reading from Philip K. Dick’s Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep? in the surroundings of Luan Gallery’s current exhibition SYSTEM ARMING.

This screening revisits one of the most enduring cultural reflections on artificial intelligence and what it means to be human. The evening will also feature a live reading from Philip K. Dick’s Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep?, the novel that inspired the film. Together, these works open a cinematic and literary lens onto SYSTEM ARMING’s core themes: human identity and connection in the age of intelligent machines, the ethics of creation, and the blurring boundaries between organic and artificial life.
