RAPT
Kinahan’s RAPT, presented in the New Gallery space, was a collection of stunning prints and paintings ranging from small to slightly larger in scale. It was the first time to exhibit this body of work featuring new and recent pieces inspired by a collection of photographs which she has taken documenting the landscape surrounding her home in rural Westmeath.
It is evident in her printmaking process that she is looking for a balance, between planning, following technical steps whilst also letting go and allowing the process to transform the ordinary into something transcendent.
