Our studio residencies provide a supportive environment where contemporary visual artists can create new work, carry out research, develop professionally, collaborate with peers, receive mentorship and support from the Luan Gallery team, and connect with the public.
The building includes four individual artist studios, ranging in size from 16 to 20 square metres. Each studio is fully equipped with power, heating, water and Wi-Fi, with shared toilet facilities available. Studio members benefit from 24-hour access and free on-site parking.
Abbey Road Artists’ Studios is closely connected to its sister venue, Luan Gallery. The gallery team support the professional development of resident artists, who are encouraged to engage with Luan Gallery programmes and take part in events held in the Abbey Road community space. Where possible, studio artists and community groups may also have opportunities to show 2D work in the Boardwalk Community Space at Luan Gallery, subject to programming, resources and final approval by the Gallery Director and Management Team.
